Famey is a proud Githabul woman. She has more than 23 years’ experience working with Aboriginal communities across NSW in senior government and non-for-profit organisations. Famey’s culture and family have influenced her career and she takes those lessons into all her professional interactions with a broad range of stakeholders. A proud Aboriginal housing advocate, she has occupied the role as Chief Executive for just under four years at the AHO, but has worked with the agency under many roles.
